Mickle Communications brought to light the problem of human trafficking in our documentary “Human Trafficking in the Heartland.  Now we’re continuing the conversation by spending time in Peru with Voices4Peru, an organization of students from Pleasant Valley Community School District working to engage and empower the lives of individuals, families, and teenagers from Las Lomas Ventanilla.

Harry Walker, head of photography and video for Mickle Communications spent the last week in Peru talking to people involved with and affected by human trafficking. In an effort to further the conversation started with Human Trafficking In The Heartland, we hope to shed more light on the subject of children sold into a life they would never choose for themselves. Look for another viewing of the documentary on WQPT early in 2017 and for new video from our trip to Peru here and on our Facebook page.
